Privacy Policy — Diwali Studio 2026

Last updated: 7 September 2026 Applies to: Diwali Studio 2026 for Android

The short version

Diwali Studio 2026 does not collect, transmit or share any personal data.

Everything you make stays on your device. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. The app works completely offline — you can turn off Wi-Fi and mobile data and every feature still works.

What we collect

Nothing.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, device identifiers, or usage analytics. There is no sign-up and no account.

What we send

Nothing.

The app contains no networking code. It does not connect to any server, ours or anyone else's. The release build does not even request the Android INTERNET permission, so it is not technically capable of sending anything.

You can verify this yourself: enable airplane mode and use the app normally.

Your photos

When you add a photo to a design, the app reads it from your device to display and edit it.

  • Your photo is never uploaded anywhere.
  • Your photo is never copied into the app's own storage — the design

refers to it by file location.

  • Your original photo file is never modified. All editing is

non-destructive; adjustments are stored as settings on the design, not baked into your file.

What is stored on your device

WhatWhereRemoved when
Your saved designsThe app's private storageYou delete them, or uninstall
An autosave of unfinished workThe app's private storageYou save or discard it, or uninstall
Your settings and favouritesThe app's private storageYou uninstall
Images you exportYour gallery, under "Diwali Studio 2026"You delete them

None of this is accessible to us or to any third party. Uninstalling the app removes everything except images you deliberately exported to your gallery.

Permissions

The app requests exactly one permission:

Camera — only when you tap "Camera" to take a photo for a design. If you decline, everything else continues to work; you can still choose existing photos.

The app does not request storage, location, contacts, microphone, or network permissions.

Sharing

When you share a design, Android's own share sheet opens and you choose where it goes. The app does not know which app you selected and does not record it. No sharing target is built in or given special treatment.

Third-party services

The app links no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or attribution services.

It is built with Flutter and uses open-source packages for on-device tasks (image encoding, file access, sharing, saving to the gallery). None of these transmit data to us or to their authors.

Advertising

The app contains no advertising and no advertising SDK.

Payments

This version links no payment provider. The premium feature records an unlock on your device only — no payment is taken, no payment details are collected, and nothing is transmitted. This is stated inside the app as well.

Children

The app is suitable for general audiences. Because it collects no data and transmits nothing, there is no personal information of any user — child or adult — for us to handle, store or disclose.

Your rights

Data protection rights such as access, correction, deletion and portability concern data a company holds about you. We hold none. Everything the app creates is on your device, under your control, and you can delete it at any time from within the app or by uninstalling.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy — for example if optional cloud backup were added — this page will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described in the release notes.
