This Privacy Policy explains what information Panchang Calendar ("the App"), published by Rajendra Kumar Kumawat, accesses and how that information is handled.

Summary

Panchang Calendar calculates Hindu Panchang information entirely on your device. The app does not require an account, does not operate a backend server, and does not collect or sell your personal information.

The only third-party service integrated into the app is Google AdMob, which displays advertisements.

Information the App Accesses

1. Location (Optional)

If you enable "Use Current Location (GPS)" from the Settings screen, the app reads your device's location once in order to calculate:

Sunrise time
Sunset time
Muhurat timings
Accurate Panchang calculations for your location

You may instead select a city manually without granting location permission.

Your selected location is stored only on your device in the app's local database. We never receive or transmit your location because the app does not use a backend server.

2. Notifications (Optional)

If you enable:

Festival reminders
Daily Panchang notifications

the app schedules notifications locally on your device. No information is sent to us.

3. Local Storage

The app stores the following locally on your device:

Panchang data
Festival information
Your preferences and settings
Selected city or GPS location

If you choose to export a backup, the app creates a backup file which you may save or share yourself. We never receive a copy of that backup.

Advertising

Panchang Calendar displays:

Banner advertisements
Optional rewarded video advertisements (to remove ads for 24 hours)

Advertisements are provided through Google AdMob.

Google may collect information such as:

Android Advertising ID
IP Address
Device information
App interaction information

This information is collected directly by Google for:

Serving advertisements
Measuring advertisement performance
Fraud prevention

Google's privacy policies apply to this data collection:

We do not provide your precise location to AdMob for advertisement targeting, nor do we create advertising profiles about you.

Ad Privacy Choices

If you are located in a region where consent is legally required (such as the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), the app displays Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form when you first launch the app.

Advertisements are shown only according to the choices you make.

You can review or change your preferences anytime from:

Settings → Ads → Ad Privacy Settings

If you decline consent where required, the application continues to function normally without displaying advertisements.

What We Do Not Collect

No account is required.
No name is collected.
No email address is collected.
No phone number is collected.
No contacts are accessed.
No photos or files are accessed.
No camera access is required.
No microphone access is required.
No personal analytics are collected.
No tracking is performed by us.
Your personal information is never sold.

Data Deletion

All application data is stored locally on your device.

Uninstalling the application removes all locally stored data.

Since we do not maintain a server or user accounts, there is no server-side information to delete.

Children's Privacy

This application is not intended for children and is not specifically designed to appeal primarily to children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.

Continued use of the application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
